PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team turned in an explosive second half rally on Wednesday night, overturning a two-goal halftime deficit to defeat Drexel, 3-2, at Sweeney Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Dragons opened the scoring early in the 11th minute and added another in the 27th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the break.
- St. Joe's found its spark early in the second half when Juliette Muro set up Valentina Nardone, who found the back of the net in the 51st minute to put the Hawks on the board.
- Less than five minutes later, Chelsea Leal delivered a free kick into the box to Sarah Fisher, who buried the equalizer in the 56th minute to bring SJU level.
- The game-winner came at the 69:13 mark as Fisher returned the favor on a corner, setting up Muro to cap off the three-goal unanswered run and complete the comeback victory.

- St. Joe's dominated the final 45 minutes of action, outshooting the opposition 11-3 in the second half after taking just two shots in the opening period.
