PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's basketball team announced its 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Tuesday morning. Highlighting the slate are a pair of games against teams that competed in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and a neutral-site tilt against Penn State.
 
All told, St. Joe's has eight games outside of Atlantic 10 play at home, two on the road and three at neutral sites. The eight non-conference contests give the Hawks 17 games at Hagan Arena this season overall.
 
With the announcement of the non-conference schedule, fans can now place a deposit for groups of 10 or more to secure first access to selecting their opponents, locations of seats, and other details before the general public. Saint Joseph's opens the schedule with four home games in the first 15 days of the season, starting with Longwood on Wednesday, Nov. 4, followed by Lafayette (Nov. 7), Penn (Nov. 14) and Wagner (Nov. 17). Sandwiched between those four contests is a nationally televised game against South Florida in Annapolis, Maryland, on Nov. 11 as part of the Veterans Classic. Game time is set for 3 p.m. and is airing on CBS Sports Network.
 
The Hawks return to Big 5 play as they head to Drexel on Nov. 20, then are at home on Nov. 25 against Penn State Abington, followed by a road contest at Monmouth (Nov. 28). December starts with the Big 5 Classic at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Dec. 5. Boston University travels to Hagan Arena on Dec. 8, followed by UMES on Dec. 15 and Coppin State on Dec. 19.
 
St. Joe's non-conference schedule wraps up as the Hawks travel to Hershey, Pennsylvania, to square off against Penn State on Dec. 22 at the GIANT Center.

Saint Joseph's is coming off a 24-12 campaign in 2025-26 in which the Hawks finished third in the Atlantic 10 and advanced to the NIT quarterfinals.
