A former standout at Villanova University, Kelly O'Brien is in her eighth season as an assistant rowing coach at Saint Joseph's.
As a collegian, O'Brien competed in the Lightweight 8 and captured a National Championship in 1999 and a silver medal at the Henley Royal Regatta that same year.
A Philadelphia-area native, she coached at her high school alma mater, Archbishop Prendergast, in 2003. O'Brien is currently a Behavioral Therapist for the Lovaas Institute and is working towards her master's degree in special education at Saint Joseph's.
