DiDio Finishes 104th at NCAA Pre-Nationals

TERRE HAUTE, IN - The Saint Joseph's men's cross country team traveled to Indiana State University to race among the best in the nation at the 2004 NCAA Pre-Nationals.

Junior Mike DiDio paced the Hawks with a 104th place finish. After taking last weekend off from racing, DiDio cover the difficult 8k course in a time of 25:16. Teammates Joe Mohn and Collin Martin were not far behind, finishing 133rd and 157th overall in times of 25:33 and 25:47 respectively.

Rounding out the Hawks' top six were freshman Will Rowland, junior Rich Anderson and freshman Rich Ryan.

The Hawks also had four of their men compete at the Lafayette Invitational in Easton, PA on Saturday. Senior Joe Correnti and sophomores Chris Kessler, Jeremy Fallis and Brian O'Neill each ran a solid 5 mile race.
