Nov. 6, 2004

PHILADELPHIA - Rob Ferguson and Dwayne Jones scored 14 points apiece in the intra-squad scrimmage at the annual Hawk Hoop Hysteria to lead the SJU Black Team. The crowd of season ticket holders and former players, managers and Hawks was treated to a scrimmage of three periods.

Jones shot 7-for-9 from the field and grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots. Ferguson converted 6-for-9 from the floor and pulled down seven boards.

Newcomer Abdulai Jalloh had 13 points for SJU Black, which as a squad, shot 55.3 percent from the field on the evening.

Chet Stachitas was the lone double-figure scorer for SJU White.

Seniors Pat Carroll and John Bryant both sat out the evening's contest. Carroll is still sidelined with a dislocated shoulder while Bryant had suffered a minor concussion in practice.

Close to 50 former Hawks were in attendance and were introduced individually at the event.
