PHILADELPHIA (08/08/03) - The Saint Joseph's University softball team will hold its first annual alumnae game on Saturday, September 20 at East Norriton Field in East Norriton, Pa. The game, which will pit past players against the current SJU squad, will take commence at noon. A cookout which will allow the current players to get to meet standouts from the program's glorious history, will follow the contest.
"This is a fantastic way for our current squad to meet some of the great Hawk players from years past," states third year head coach Moo Moyer. "It was also allow our alumnae to come out and enjoy a fun-filled day of sotfball. We have a great tradition of softball at Saint Joseph's and this event will go along way to furthering that."
