Pat Cullinan, the head men's lacrosse coach at West Chester University for four seasons, is in his first season as head coach at Saint Joseph's. A two-time New York Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year at WCU, Cullinan spent the 2004 season on the SJU staff.
While at West Chester, Cullinan led the Golden Rams to the ECAC Division II Championship game in 1999 and 2002 and finished the 2003 season ranked ninth in the nation. He also was the director of the Golden Ram Boys Lacrosse Camp and organized both a coaches and players clinic for the Chester County Youth Lacrosse Association.
Prior to coming to WCU as an assistant coach in 1999, Cullinan started the lacrosse program at Glen Mills High School and was the head coach for six years. Still an active player, he has competed in the Philadelphia based Central Atlantic Lacrosse League since 1980, earning all-conference honors five times.
Cullinan is a 1979 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, where he was a four-year starter and two-time captain. He has also completed all but five credits towards a masters degree in sport and athletic administration from West Chester.
