Philadelphia, PA - The men's lacrosse team celebrated senior day in fine fashion as the Hawks defeated Manhattan, 12-8, on Wednesday night. Ken Rose and Wayne Sitar scored three goals each for Manhattan. After trading goals for the first 15 minutes, SJU scored five unanswered goals to take an 8-3 lead with nine minutes left in the first half. Manhattan (3-8, 1-5 MAAC) rallied back, scoring the next two goals to make it an 8-5 game at intermission. After the Jaspers made it a two-goal game with 6:19 left in the third quarter, the Hawks netted the next three goals to make it an 11-6 game with eight and a half minutes left in regulation.
