SWARTHMORE, PA (2/21/04) -- Saint Joseph's won the doubles point and took the final four singles spots in a 5-2 win at Swarthmore on Saturday to improve to 3-1 on the season. Junior Van Homer Pangilinan won a three-set victory at fourth singles, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 to highlight the Hawks' win. Sophomore Chris Spencer won 6-3, 6-4 at third singles, and classmates Antonio Aniello (6-3, 6-2) and A.J. Garabedian (6-1, 6-2) were both winners at fifth and sixth singles, respectively. Junior Francisco Velazquez teamed with Pangilinan for a 9-8 victory at first doubles, and sophomore Jimmy Holland paired with Garabedian for a 8-5 second doubles win. SJU takes on Princeton tomorrow at Jadwin Gym.
