PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's senior A.J. Garabedian has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference men's tennis Performer of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, February 19. Garabedian went 2-0 at third singles and 1-1 at first doubles as Saint Joseph's split its two matches this past week.

He won the Hawks, only match in a 6-1 loss at Navy on Feb. 18, posting a 6-3, 1-6, 10-6 STB singles decision after dropping a 9-7 doubles match. In SJU's 6-1 win over nationally-ranked Division III Swarthmore the next day, he earned a 6-3, 7-5 singles win and an 8-2 doubles win. Garabedian is 9-6 in singles competition this year, including 4-1 in spring duals.
