BALTIMORE, MD - Singles victories by Pat Adams and Antonio Aniello were not enough as Saint Joseph's dropped a 5-2 decision to UMBC in the team's season finale at teh UMBC Tennis Center.

The Hawks fell behind early as they were suprised in teh doubles competion, dropping all three matches.

In singles, Adams used a super tie-breaker to win at number three (7-5, 4-6, 10-6). Aniello, meanwhile, closed out his career with a straight-set win at number five (6-3, 6-2).

Jimmy Holland was battling in the third set before retiring.
