PHILADELPHIA -
The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team won a tough 4-3 decision against Temple Thursday afternoon. The Owls fall to 8-10 on the season while the Hawks improve to 6-8.
The Owls opened play by winning the doubles point. The Chirico brothers won in the #1 slot, but Temple took the next two matches to take the point.
The Hawks took four of the six singles matches to capture the win. Jarrett Chirico, Chris Chirico, Matt Glasgow and Pat Adams notched wins in the #1, #3, #4, and #5 spots respectively.
SJU faces off next against Stony Brook, Sunday, April 1st, on Finnesey Courts.
