The Saint Joseph's men's tennis squad fell to city rival Temple on Saturday, 6-1. The Hawks fell to 7-7 on the spring with the loss.
Freshman Jeff Kessler was the lone point-earner for SJU, recording a victory over TU's Dmitry Vizhunov, 6-3, 6-1, at number four singles. Senior captain Pat Adams lost a hard-fought match in the top flight, falling to Nathan Spunda, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.
The Hawks return to the courts on Monday afternoon in the Bronx as they take on conference foe Fordham at 3:00 p.m.
