ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team lost the first two matches of its spring break trip to Orlando, but closed out the week with a 4-3 win over South Dakota State. Senior Lucho Perez-Abreu won all three of his singles matches against Monmouth, Creighton, and SDSU.

Perez-Abreu won his first match in the sixth singles flight over Oliver Grimbly of Monmouth, 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 before taking down Creighton's Sean Mathison in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3. In the final match of the trip, Perez-Abreu slid up to fifth singles and defeated Alex Lauseng of South Dakota State, 6-0, 6-1.

Freshman Alex Veronis also had success in the second flight, defeating Ian Terpilowski of Monmouth, 6-1, 7-6 (5) and Justin Pyle of SDSU, 6-2, 6-3.
