ORLANDO, Fla. -
The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team fell to Creighton, 6-1, on Wednesday afternoon as the squad continued play in Orlando. Alex Veronis won his first-flight singles match to score the Hawks' lone point.
Veronis scored a three-set win over Billy Paluch in the top flight, 6-1, 2-6, 6-4. Peter Cognetti and Tommy Gates also extended their matches to three sets before succumbing to the Bluejay opposition.
The Hawks close out their Florida trek on Thursday against South Dakota State.
