PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team split its pair of Atlantic 10 matches on Sunday at the SJU Tennis Complex. The Hawks topped Rhode Island, 5-2, but fell to Fordham, 5-2, in the second match.

Against Rhode Island, the Hawks claimed the first point as Casey Robinson and Maggie Mullaney earned a 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles, while freshman Devi Jadeja and sophomore Jenna Procyk posted a 9-7 victory at No. 3 doubles.

Switching to singles, Saint Joseph's posted wins at No. 1, No. 2, No. 5 and No. 6 singles. Robinson posted a 6-2, 6-1 win at the top flight, while Jadeja earned a 7-6 (4) and 6-3 win at the second flight. Junior Tara Walsh and sophomore Jenna Procyk rounded out the wins, with 6-3, 6-0 win and 6-2, 6-4 victory, respectively.

Against Fordham, Robinson and Mullaney earned wins at No. 1 and No. 3 singles, but the Hawks couldn't earn the other two points.
