Men's Lacrosse Falls to Towson, 15-2

Towson, Md. - The Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse team dropped its final game of the season, 15-2, to Towson on Saturday evening. Griffin Ferrigan made 15 saves in net while Ian Correia and Bobby Hurley each tallied a goal for the Hawks.

The Tigers scored three goals in the first quarter and two in the second to take a 5-0 lead before Correia netted a man-up goal for the Hawks with 7:10 on the clock. Towson added one more goal before the break for a 6-1 halftime lead.

Towson scored six in the third to push the lead to 12-1 and added three more goals in the fourth before Hurley netted the final score of the game with 1:56 to go.

The Tigers outshot SJU, 46-27, picked up 56 ground balls to the Hawks 27 and won 13-of-21 faceoffs on the night.

Towson's goalkeeper Travis Love earned the win in net, making 10 saves for the Tigers.
