State College, Pa. - The men's cross country team finished fifth at the Spiked Shoe Invitational on Saturday, September 8 in a 5.2 mile meet that saw 98 runners compete from nine different schools. Senior Jon Mazzio finished in the top ten for the Hawks, finishing eighth overall with a time of 26:28, paced by a 5:20 mile.

Sophomore Logan Mohn crossed the finish line 17th overall at 26:41 while junior Aaron Leskow (26:47) and sophomore Paul Szulewski (27:03) finished close behind with overall finishes of 22nd and 31st, respectively. Graduate student Dan Roark rounded out the top five for the Hawks with a time of 27:16, good for a 36 place finish.
