• Sunday's game is the first of a three-game home stand for the Hawks as they host Saint Louis and VCU next Wednesday and Saturday, respectively.
• Sunday is the first of two meetings between Saint Joseph's and Dayton this year as the two will faceoff at Dayton on February 23.
• The Hawks hold a 12-11 edge in the all-time series.
• Sunday's contest is a rematch of last year's Atlantic 10 Championship semifinal game in which SJU topped the 11th ranked Flyers, 61-54, en route to winning the A-10 crown.
• The game is also a matchup of the top two teams in the conference based on the A-10 Preseason Poll as Dayton was picked first and Saint Joseph's picked second.
• The Hawks are coming off a 75-69 victory at George Washington on Wednesday in which they scored the final six points to stave off a late Colonial charge.
• Senior guard Erin Shields scored a game-high 21 points and added seven assists in the win at George Washington.
• Senior forward Ilze Gotfrida posted her third-straight game with double figure scoring, tallying 14 points against the Colonials. She is currently averaging 9.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in Atlantic 10 only contests.
