NEWPORT NEWS, Va./DANBURY, Conn. – Saint Joseph's junior Renier Moolman was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Performer of the Week, the conference office announced today, while freshman Peter Dewitt pulled in ECAC Division I South Rookie of the Week honors for his performance during the previous week.

Moolman won both of his matches on Saturday night, teaming with Dewitt for an 8-2 win in the second doubles flight before winning in straight sets, 7-6 (2), 6-2, in the first singles flight as the Hawks cruised past conference rival Saint Louis, 6-1, at the Riverside Fitness Center.

Dewitt was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week for the previous week, and followed up with ECAC accolades on Wednesday.  He won both of his matches as SJU beat Saint Francis (Pa.) in a 4-3 thriller on February 28.  Dewitt and Moolman were 8-2 winners in the second doubles flight, and Dewitt dominated his sixth flight singles tilt to the tune of a 6-2, 6-2 win.

Saint Joseph's will play a pair of matches in North Carolina this weekend, taking on former A-10 rival Charlotte on Saturday before traveling to first-year league member Davidson on Sunday.
