DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell at Atlantic 10 newcomer Davidson, 6-1, Sunday afternoon. Senior Aurora Davis picked up the Hawks' point on the day with a three set victory at No. 1 singles.
Davis picked up a three-set victory over Elaina Cummer at the top singles spot, 7-5, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6), but that would be the only win for the Hawks on the day in their first meeting with the Wildcats.
The Hawks (2-3) return to action Wednesday when they host Delaware at 2:30 p.m.
