PITTSBURGH - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell at Atlantic 10 rival Duquesne, 5-2, Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks (3-5) got singles wins from Claire Minnoe and Maureen Devlin, but they couldn't earn another two points in the end.
After dropping the doubles point, Minnoe got the first point of the day, battling Maddy Adams to a three-set victory, 4-6, 7-5, 10-8 at the second flight. Devlin also posted a three-set win, battling back after dropping the first set for a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory at the third flight.
Duquesne wouldn't let up though as the Dukes took the other four singles matches for the 5-2 win.
Saint Joseph's returns to action Wednesday at home versus Fordham.
