PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team dropped another tight match, falling at Drexel, 4-3, Thursday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point to start the match, the Hawks (3-7) battled back in singles play taking three sets. Aurora Davis posted a 2-6, 7-5, 6-4 victory at the top flights, while Alex Zachem battled to a 6-0, 4-6, 7-6 (4) win at the fifth flight. Arianne Polatnick picked up a 6-2, 1-6, (10-7) win.
The Dragons wouldn't be denied though as they took the second, third and fourth singles flights for the team win.
Saint Joseph's returns to action next Wednesday at home versus Chestnut Hill.
