Box Score RICHMOND, Va. - A pair of Rams goals in the 31st and 52nd minutes handed the Hawks their third straight loss as the Saint Joseph's men's soccer squad fell at VCU, 2-0, at Sports Backers Stadium on Wednesday evening. Saint Joseph's now stands at 6-8-1 overall (3-3-0 A-10) while VCU improves to 5-6-3 overall (3-1-1 A-10).
VCU's Jorge Gerranz netted the first goal of the match at the 30:29 mark before Luc Fatton put away the Rams' second of the night at the 51:19 mark.
For the match, VCU held a 12-7 edge in shots, with a 6-1 advantage in shots on goal. Junior midfielder Matt Crawford led the Hawks with three shots, while sophomore transfer forward Isaac Agyapong landed SJU's lone shot on net in the 78th minute.
Junior goalkeeper Greg O'Connell (6-8-1, 3-3-0 A-10) made four saves in the full-match effort.
