PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's soccer squad (0-3) will look to earn its first win of the season on the road this week as the Hawks will play their next two matches away from Sweeney Field.
SJU will first head to Howard (1-3) this Friday, September 9 for a 8:00 p.m. start at Greene Stadium in Washington, D.C. The Hawks are 3-0 all-time against the Bison with a 3-2 (2OT) home win last season, a 1-0 home win in 2014, and a 3-0 road win in 2013. Live streaming and live stats will not be made available.

On Tuesday, September 13, Saint Joseph's will head to Al-Marzook Field at Alumni Stadium in West Hartford, Conn. to face Hartford (0-2-1) at 7:00 p.m. Live streaming for the match will be made available via AmericaEast.TV. The Hawks are 0-1 all-time against Hartford after a 2-0 loss on October 5, 1985.
Saint Joseph's dropped its first three matches of the season to Temple (2-0), Northeastern (1-0 2OT), and Pittsburgh (4-1); sophomore forward Isaac Agyapong scored in the 90th minute against the Panthers while junior goalkeeper Greg O'Connell (0-3) has made 15 combined saves through three matches.
Led by senior captains Bliss Harris and Mike Stuski, SJU returns 19 Hawks, including nine starters and its entire defensive core, and sports a roster of seven seniors, eight juniors, four sophomores, and nine newcomers this fall.
