PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's women's soccer team has named
Shelby Money assistant coach, Hawks' head coach

Money comes to Hawk Hill after spending the past five years working as a goalkeeper coach at The Keeper Institute. Working with keepers from ages eight to 20, she created both group and one-on-one sessions to help goalkeepers evaluate themselves. Along with working as a goalkeeper coach, Money adds professional experience having been a member with NWSL teams Sky Blue FC, Washington Spirit Reserves and Ol Reign.

"We are very excited to have Shelby join our coaching staff," said Mannella. "Her playing experience training with different professional teams as well as her keeper training with The Keeper Institute will really help our keepers get to the next level. In addition her energy and spirit will be a great addition for our entire team."

Named an All-America Third Team honoree by the United Soccer Coaches, Money was a four-year standout in goal at Rowan where she set a set a program record for career shutouts (36) and matched the career wins mark (50), while posting a 0.47 goals against average and .870 save percentage.Â

Twice named NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year, Money earned All-Conference accolades three times and All-Region honors twice with the Profs, while also being selected a CoSIDA Academic All-District Team member. A 2019 graduate of Rowan, she earned a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science.
