THE TIP-OFF
• Saint Joseph's caps its two game homestand this Tuesday as the Hawks host Richmond.
• Tuesday's game will be broadcast locally on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
• The Hawks opened their homestand Saturday with a hard-fought matchup against George Mason that saw the Patriots hold off a second half rally by Saint Joseph's, 71-62.
• Redshirt junior Taylor Funk led the Hawks in scoring for the seventh time this season as he poured in 21 points and added five rebounds against George Mason.
• Rookie Jordan Hall handed out a game-high seven assists, grabbed a team-best seven rebounds and scored 15 points versus the Patriots.
• Saturday's starting lineup featured only one true upperclassman, Funk, as the Hawks started rookies Hall and Anton Jansson, and sophomore transfers Dahmir Bishop and Jack Forrest.
•Freshman Jadrian Tracey enters Tuesday averaging 5.9 points per game during Atlantic 10 play, up from 2.0 ppg in non-conference games.
• The Hawks are currently fourth in the A-10 in assists per game (15.2), and are assisting on 58.5 percent of their field goals, up from 52.1 percent a season ago.
• Hall currently lead all freshmen nationally in assists per game (6.5) and ranks second in the A-10.
• Funk is nearing 1,000 points for his career as he enters Tuesday with 940 points and an 11.1 points per game career average.

Tuesday marks the 29th meeting between Saint Joseph's and Richmond with the Hawks holding an 18-10 edge in the series, with the two teams splitting the past six contests, 3-3. Below are series highlights and notes.
• The Hawks are 8-5 all-time versus the Spiders in Philadelphia as they have posted a 6-5 mark in series games on Hawk Hill and are 2-0 at the Palestra.
• Cameron Brown led the Hawks in scoring with 11 points and seven rebounds in last year's meeting at the Robins Center.
