It came down to at 15-13 fifth set but in its last-ever match, the Devils defeated Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) North Division champion Bloomfield in five sets for an emotional send-off on Saturday afternoon.

Following a Bloomfield point, Velez took over. After a Bears service error and Tori Wright ace, she finished the match with three straight kills to cap five unanswered to take the lead for good.
Two blocks by Jennifer Marrero, the second with Jaskot, would then set up the match point.
