One season after becoming USciences volleyball's first All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) honoree since 2013, Tori Wright has become the fourth student-athlete (Breht Miecowski, Emily Roth, Clair Taushek) in program history to earn multiple All-CACC selections.
The redshirt-sophomore was voted All-CACC Third Team by the league's coaches after helping lead the Devils to their best CACC record since 2012, as she ranked third in the conference with 254.5 points and 244 kills in CACC play.
Wright's team-leading 4.1 points and 3.59 kills per set this year are both fourth in the league, the latter of which ranks second in the program's Division II single-season history.
She had eight-plus kills in 20-of-21 matches, recording 15-plus in 11. Her most notable performance came in a sweep of Goldey-Beacom on Nov. 2, as her program-record (three-set match in 25-point era) 23 kills were tied for the second most in a three-set match in Division II this season.
The 2019 CACC Rookie of the Year, Wright also led the team with .36 aces per set, was third with a .185 hitting percentage, and fourth with 1.96 digs per set.
She ends her USciences career 10th in program history with 616 kills despite playing just two seasons. Her 3.44 kills per set are third all-time, while her .48 service aces per set rank eighth.
