Box Score PHILADELPHIA – After Jefferson led wire-to-wire in the opening set, the USceinces volleyball team responded by pushing the undefeated Rams in the second and third in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) matchup on Tuesday evening.  
University of the Sciences came out with the first four points of the second set on Caelin Jaskot's serve, capped by her service ace. 
The Devils still led by four at 10-6, but the Rams (11-0) tied the score for a fourth time at 14-14 and would go on to score the next five points. 
USciences got as close as 20-23, once again on Jaskot's serve, but Jefferson would close the set out with two of the final three points for a 2-0 lead. 
The third set was played within two points until three straight Rams points made the score 18-15, beginning an 8-3 run en route to a 25-20 final.  
University of the Sciences improved upon its hitting throughout the match, posting a .290 percentage in the third set. 
Natalia Velez had team-highs of nine kills and a .273 hitting percentage, while Jaskot had 23 assists.  
University of the Sciences hosts two-time defending (CACC) regular season champion Georgian Court this Thursday at 7 p.m.
