• Saint Joseph's begins a two-game homestand starting Monday afternoon versus city rival La Salle.
• Monday marks a special Martin Luther King, Jr. Day doubleheader with the Hawks' women's team hosting La Salle at noon, and both games airing nationally on CBS Sports Network.
• Saint Joseph's Head Coach Billy Lange and La Salle Head Coach Ashley Howard spearheaded the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day contest between the two Philadelphia programs.

SAINT JOSEPH'S VERSUS LA SALLE
• Monday marks the 134th meeting between Saint Joseph's and La Salle with the Hawks holding an 72-61 edge.
• Saint Joseph's 72 wins are its most versus any opponent.
• The Hawks and La Salle have a discrepancy in all-time record as SJU recognizes the first meeting between the two teams as a 35-29 victory on February 11, 1909, while the Explorers view their 39-20 win on February 10, 1934 as the start of the series based upon their start at the Division I level in 1931-32.
• St. Joe's went 2-1 versus the Explorers last year, winning the last two matchups, including a 72-66 win in the opening game of the A-10 Championship.
• Jordan Hall averaged 16.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game versus La Salle last year, including a triple-double in a 91-82 overtime win on February 20, 2021 at Hagan Arena.
UPDATED POLICIES FOR FAN ATTENDANCE AT HAGAN ARENA
Saint Joseph's Athletics has announced updated spectator guidelines for men's and women's basketball home games at Hagan Arena, effective January 3. The updated guidelines are based on new requirements issued by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health (PDPH). Beginning January 3, all fans five (5) years old and older will be required to show proof of vaccination to enter Hagan Arena for men's and women's basketball games. Per PDPH guidelines, through January 17, unvaccinated fans can provide a negative COVID-19 result from a PCR or rapid test with the sample taken within 24 hours of entry to the location in lieu of providing vaccination status. Fans with an exemption are also required to provide documentation of a negative COVID-19 result. Home testing kits for individuals cannot be verified, and will not be accepted for entrance into Hagan Arena.
