WEST LONG BRANCH N.J. - Saint Joseph's track and field competed at the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invitational on Saturday. Of note the Hawks raced on a flat track and for most events there is a conversion to banked track time.

TRACK EVENTS:
- Freshman Aidan Groff made his indoor mile debut. The rookie clocked a time of 4:40.87
- Freshman Jake Carrubba placed 13th in the 400 meters, clocking a time of 53.97.
- The 500 meters saw the duo of sophomore Kevin Dennin and senior Ryan Dao place 15th and 16th respectively. Dennin clocked a time of 1:10.12 and Dao followed in a time of 1:12.10.
- Junior Ryne Beni grabbed at top 10 finish in the 3,000 meters. Beni recorded a time of 9:35.60 to place tenth overall.
FIELD EVENTS:
- Sophomore Don Adams notched a tenth-place finish in the long jump with a best mark of 6.32 meters.
UP NEXT:
St. Joe's will return to action next Sunday for the Princeton Invitational as a final tune up before the Atlantic 10 Championship.
