Hawks Turn In Strong Showing at Widener Final Qualifier

CHESTER, PA. - The Saint Joseph's men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up competition at the Widener Final Qualifier with several strong performances, highlighted by a pair of top-six finishes in the men's 200m and an impressive showing from the women in the 800m.

WOMEN'S RESULTS
  • The Hawks delivered an impressive showing in the 800m, led by Samantha Korck, who earned a third-place finish with a personal-best time of 2:07.09. Tess Crossan followed closely behind in fourth, crossing the line in 2:08.48, while Quinn O'Brien added another top-10 performance for the Hawks with an eighth-place finish in 2:09.94. Karin Dobiasch rounded out the efforts in the event, placing 25th overall with a time of 2:16.25.
MEN'S RESULTS
  • The Hawks turned in a strong performance on the track, highlighted by a pair of top six finishes in the 200m. Benjamin Henry led the way with a fifth-place finish in 21.47, while Logan Maloney followed closely behind in sixth with a time of 21.59.
  • In the 800m, Regent Walden finished with a time of 1:54.73.
  • The Hawks also saw a strong effort in the 1500m, where Brendan Hefferan clocked in at 3:49.74 to earn a 12th-place finish.
  • In the men's 5000m, Gavin Mogck turned in a strong performance for the Hawks, placing seventh overall with a time of 14:15.42.
