WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's sophomore Andrea Botteon and freshman Alex Wockenfuss have been named to the Atlantic 10 Men's Outdoor Track and Field All-Rookie Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Botteon, a native of Vittorio Veneto, Italy, was tabbed for the All-Rookie Team in the 10,000m, as his time of 29:46.11 at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic on April 11 was the fastest time turned in by a first-year competitor in the conference this season and ranked fourth overall.
 
Wockenfuss earned his second All-Rookie nod of the year after running a 1:50.77 in the 800m at Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational on April 4, the fastest time by a first-year competitor and the sixth-fastest time overall.  The Bel Air, Maryland, native previously earned All-Rookie accolades in the 500m during the indoor season.
