PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's travels to Penn State for a Saturday afternoon tilt against the Nittany Lions. Opening draw is scheduled for 3 p.m. from Penn State's indoor facility. Saturday's game is the second of four-straight road contests for the Hawks.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • The Hawks are 3-3 on the season after falling at Towson last game.
  • Lauren Figura was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week after averaging 4.5 goals per game last week. She notched four against Villanova and five at Towson.
  • Figura leads the team and is 31st nationally with 19 goals scored this season. She's added two assists for 21 points overall.
  • Lisa Ross is the second of four double-digit point scorers for St. Joe's. Ross has tallied 18 points with an even nine goals and nine assists.
  • Sydney Foster (14) and Rilea Fusco (12) round out the Hawks' top scorers.
  • Jorden Concordia (3-3) has played every minute in net. She has a .428 save percentage with 65 saves. Her saves total is ranked 10th in the country and third best in the league.
ABOUT PENN STATE:
  • Penn State is 3-2 overall after taking down #21 James Madison in its last game.
  • The Nittany Lions have four student-athletes with double-digit point totals this season.
  • Kristin O'Neill leads the team with 16 points on a team-best 14 goals and two assists.
  • Kara Nealon has handed out a team-high 13 helpers for all 13 of her points.
  • Taylor Regan (15) and Mary Muldoon (11) are the other leading scorers.
  • PSU has seen two goalkeepers play in net this season. Cayden Jarvis (1-0) has played in four games with two starts, while Ashley Bowan (1-2) has played in all five with three starts.
