PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse opens Atlantic 10 play this weekend at Duquesne and St. Bonaventure. The Hawks head to Pittsburgh for a Friday afternoon game at 4 p.m. and then travel straight to St. Bonaventure for a noon start on Sunday.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • The Hawks are 4-4 on the season after snapping a two-game losing streak with a dominate win at Delaware last weekend.
  • In the game, Lauren Figura led the squad with seven points on five goals and two helpers. The first goal she scored marked the 100th of her career.
  • Figura leads the Crimson & Gray with 28 points on 24 scores and four assists. She's joined by Lisa Ross as the only Hawks over 20 points this season as Ross has 11 goals and 13 assists.
  • Four other Hawks are in double figure point totals this year.
  • In net, Jorden Concordia (4-4) has played nearly every minute and has made 77 saves with a .412 save percentage.
ABOUT DUQUESNE:
  • The Dukes are 3-4 overall after winning their first game in nearly a month with a 19-16 decision over Butler.
  • Five student-athletes have scored at least 10 points this season, led by Delaney Rodriguez-Shaw with an even 20 (15G, 5A).
  • Tina St. Clair and Sam King are tied for the team lead with 16 goals apiece.
  • Three different goalkeepers have made an appearance this season. Mady Piersielak has played in six games and Rachel O'Toole in five.
ABOUT ST. BONAVENTURE:
  • The Bonnies are 1-5 this season with their lone victory coming in double overtime last game 18-17 over Detroit Mercy. SBU opens league play with UMass on Friday afternoon.
  • Abby Hiltz (7G, 7A) and Kassi Hogan (9G, 4A) are the only Bonnies with double digit point totals.
  • Ashley Herrick (1-4) has seen most of the minutes in cage. She's made five appearances and made 83 saves on a .424 save percentage.
