PHILADELPHIA – Atlantic 10 play continues for Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse with games against Davidson and at Richmond this weekend. The Hawks begin the weekend with a 2 p.m. first draw at Sweeney Field on Friday before traveling to the Spiders for a 1 p.m. game on Sunday.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • The Hawks have won back-to-back games to sits at 6-4 overall and 2-0 in league play.
  • Lauren Figura leads the conference in goals (33) and goals per game (3.30) to sit 31st and 30th, respectively, in the nation. She's added four assists for 37 points total.
  • Five other Hawks are into double-digit scoring totals with Lisa Ross in second on 11 goals and a team-best 15 assists.
  • The reigning Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week is St. Joe's Jorden Concordia. She's made every start at goalkeeper this season for SJU. Her 99 saves this season are 18th best in the country and second in the A-10.
ABOUT DAVIDSON:
  • The Wildcats are 8-1, 2-0 A-10 this season through nine games.
  • Erin Cooke paces the team with a conference-leading 41 points. She's scored 20 goals and handed out a team-high 21 assists.
  • Grace Fahey is the top goal scorer with 27. She adds a pair of assists to be tied for second on the 'Cats with 29 points.
  • In total, eight Wildcats have tallied at least 10 points this season.
  • Amanda Monahan has started eight of the nine games this season in cage. She's made 73 saves and holds a .477 save percentage.
ABOUT RICHMOND:
  • The Spiders are 8-2 overall and 2-0 in league play while riding a three-game win streak.
  • Richmond is currently ranked 16th in the Nike/US Lacrosse Poll and 19th in the IWLCA Coaches Poll.
  • Arden Tierney is the reigning Atlantic 10 Player of the Week and leads the team with 40 points on 20 goals and a team-best 20 assists.
  • Lindsey Frank is second overall with 33 points with a team-high 24 scores and nine helpers.
  • Seven others have recorded double-digit points totals this season.
  • Delaney Galvin has started all 10 games in net this season. She's tallied 95 saves and a .514 save percentage.
