PHILADELPHIA – After a 2-0 week, Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse returns to action with a Thursday/Saturday split where it will host George Washington and travel to nationally ranked Massachusetts. Opening draw at Sweeney on Thursday is set for 6 p.m. with the Saturday game starting at noon - both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • St. Joe's won its two games last weekend and six of its last seven.
  • Lauren Figura is pacing the league and is eighth nationally with 52 goals this season. She adds five assists for 57 points, which ranks second in the A-10 and 33rd in the country. The Mount Laurel, N.J. native is averaging 3.71 goals per game this season. Figura's 52 goals is currently second all-time in a single season. She can set the program record with six more goals as she's five behind Jenna Martino who did it in 2009.
  • Four other Hawks have registered at least 20 points this season.
  • Lisa Ross is second in points with a team-high 17 assists and has added 12 goals for 29 points.
  • Jorden Concordia has made the most of her first season donning the Crimson & Gray. The sophomore transfer from Syracuse has started all 14 games. She has a 12.02 goals against average with 139 saves and a .456 save percentage.
ABOUT GEORGE WASHINGTON:
  • The Colonials are 4-10 on the season with a 2-4 mark in A-10 play, having lost two-straight.
  • Tori Hampton is the lone Colonial above 20 points this season with 16 goals and six assists. She's tied for the team lead in both categories.
  • Megan Patrick has started 12 of 14 games this season in net. She has a 12.94 goals against average with 142 saves and a .483 save percentage.
ABOUT MASSACHUSETTS:
  • UMass enters play at 12-2 overall and 6-0 in league play. The Minutewomen are ranked 14th nationally in the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll. Massachusetts will take on La Salle on Thursday in Philadelphia.
  • Kendra Harbinger leads a group of seven Minutewomen at 20 points or better this season. She posts a team-high 39 goals and adds 11 assists.
  • Alex Finn holds a team-best 17 assist with 25 goals for a second-best 42 points.
  • Gina Carroll has started every game in cage for UMass and holds a 12-2 record. She registered a 10.43 goals against average with 66 saves and a .386 save percentage.
