PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse heads to LIU on Saturday for a key matchup against the Sharks in the NEC standings. Opening faceoff is set for noon with the game streaming on NEC Front Row.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:

• St. Joe's is 9-2 and 4-0 in NEC games to sit atop the league standings. The Hawks have been receiving votes in all three major polls for the past seven weeks.
• The Hawks are ranked 15^th nationally in scoring offense and 12^th in scoring defense.
• Five Hawks have at least 28 points on the year.
• Matt Bohmer leads the team with 42 points. He's scored 28 times and has a team-high 14 assists.
• Tucker Brown (36), Carter Page (32), Levi Anderson (31), and Austin Strazzulla (28) round out the cohort.
• Zach Cole has been lethal on faceoffs this season, ranking first in the nation in both winning percentage (.730) and ground balls per game (11.82).
• Robbie Seeley has started the past five games in cage and been nearly flawless. He posts a perfect 5-0 record with an 8.57 goals against average. He's made 51 saves on a .554 save percentage.
• Assistant coach Mike Rastivo spent last season as the Sharks' offensive coordinator.

• The Sharks are 6-5 overall and 3-1 in league play this season.
• LIU's offense is centered around a pair of point scorers in Richie LaCalandra and Blake Behlen.
• LaCalandra leads the team with 44 points on 23 goals and a team-best 21 helpers.
• Behlen has a team-high 25 goals and adds 12 assists for 37 points.
• Will Mark is the team's starting keeper, having started all 11 games this year. He has a 9.32 goals against average and 154 saves with a .602 save percentage.
