PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse returns home to take on the La Salle Explorers for Senior Day on Saturday. First draw is scheduled for noon, with the Hawks honoring their seniors following the game. Those seniors include Lizzie McBride, Sophia Kolkka, Julia Strobel, Lauren Figura, Lani Mouat, Lindsey Smith, Kaela Smith, Riley Delaney, Grace Gallagher, Sammy Tush, as well as fifth-years Taylor Newman-Farr, Rilea Fusco, and Lauren Gray.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:

• St. Joe's has won seven of their last nine games.
• Lauren Figura has scored 55 goals this season which puts her just two behind Jenna Martino for the program's all-time single season record.
• Junior Lisa Ross leads the team with 20 assists, and trails only Figura in points, with 34. 
• Midfielder Sophia Kolkka continues to pose issues for other teams looking to make their transition to the offensive zone. The senior has caused 22 turnovers this season.
• Sophomore goalie Jorden Concordia is 10-6 in her first season on Hawk Hill. The sophomore has made 156 saves and holds a .455 save percentage.

ABOUT LA SALLE:

• Coming off a close 11-10 victory against George Mason, the Explorers look to close their season with a victory against St. Joe's for the first time since 2015.
• Graduate student Emily Johnston has led the team's offensive efforts with 38 goals this season.
• Maddie Henderson and Kiki Venza have also been major contributors on the team's offense, combining for 49 points this season.
• The team has split goalie responsibilities throughout the season. Sophomore Kelli McGroarty was instrumental in the team's most recent victory, saving 18 shots.
• Head coach Katie Rhodes Abbott is in her fourth season at the helm of the Explorers.
