RICHMOND Va. - Patrick Fehm scored in two events to lead Saint Joseph's men's track & field to a successful day one of the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championshipson Saturday.

SCORING PERFORMANCES:

• Fehm claimed fourth overall in the long jump with a season-best jump of 7.11m. He later doubled back to medal in high jump with a third place finish at 2.02m.

 FINALS QUALIFIERS:

• The 400m saw both senior Michael Welde and rookie Michael Brittingham qualify for Sunday's final. Welde took second overall in the prelims winning his heat in a time of 48.46 to secure the auto-qualifier. Brittingham placed seventh overall in the prelims with a time of 49.22
• In the 400m hurdles, senior Kyle Magee registered a second-place finish in his heat to qualify for Sunday's final in a time of 54.35.
