BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Saint Joseph's men's cross country team took part at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Friday afternoon, placing 16^th at the Goodman Cross Country Course.
 
ABOUT THE EVENT

• The 10k event was held at the Goodman Cross Country Course, hosted by Lehigh.
• The Hawks placed 16^th of 26 teams.
• 183 competitors were in the field.

 
HOW THE HAWKS FINISHED

• The first finisher came by way of Jay Shanahan, who ran an 18 second personal best en route to a 46^th place finish with a time of 31:02.7.
• Anthony Gargani placed 74^th in his debut in the 10k, finishing with a time of 31:33.4.
• Noah Deckert finished just over 10 seconds behind the sophomore, crossing the finish line in 31:46.7.
• Matt Coffey (32:17.9) and Aidan Doherty (32:29.6) finished the scoring for the Hawks, while Colton Johnson rounded out the group for a 32:55.5 finish.
