Men's Track and Field Concludes Indoor Regular Season at the Princeton Indoor Invitational

PRINCETON N.J.- The Saint Joseph's men's track and field team concluded regular season competition with a strong showing at the Princeton Indoor Invitational.
 
FIELD EVENTS:
  • With a huge jump freshman Cameron Campbell-Miller took first in the long jump with a best mark of 6.85m. With this jump he now ranks fifth on the SJU all time list.
  • Doubling back in the triple jump, Campbell-Miller took second with an impressive jump of 13.33m.
 
TRACK EVENTS:
  • Sophomore Zach Williams led a slew of Hawks in the mile with a third-place finish in a time of 4:25.17. Sophomore Aidan Doherty was fourth with a time of 4:28.69. Ryne Beni (4:34.24), Quinn O'Dell (4:37.40) and Ben Klinger (4:43.71) were sixth through eight respectively. Owen Hibshman placed 11th in a time of 4:48.23, senior Dylan Zuch was 12th in a time of 4:49.42 and round out the Hawk performers in this event was sophomore Omar Bedak placing 16th in a time of 4:56.39.
  • Dawson Baptiste secured the win in the 1,000m with a time of 2:38,13. Doubling back for his second event of the day, Beni placed third in a time of 2:44.08.
  • Regent Walden also secured a win in the 500m with a time of 1:10.12
 UP NEXT:
The Hawks will kick off post season competition next weekend with a trip up to Kingston Rhode Island for the Atlantic 10 Indoor Track and Field Championships. Competition will kick off on Saturday February 25 and conclude on Sunday February 26.
