WASHINGTON – Saint Joseph's senior
Luke Noss and freshman
Alex Wockenfuss received postseason accolades from the Atlantic 10 Conference recently; Noss was named to the Men's Indoor Track and Field All-Academic Team, while Wockenfuss was tabbed for the All-Rookie Team.
Noss won a silver medal in the 500m at the Atlantic 10 Championships on February 28; he then went on to nab a bronze medal as the anchor of the Hawks' 4x400m relay squad. Noss, a native of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, also ran the fourth-fastest time in the conference in the 500m this season as well as ranking 10th in the 400m; the 4x400m turned in the conference's best time of the season in that distance as well.
Wockenfuss, who hails from Bel Air, Maryland, turned in the league's fastest time by a rookie in the 500m from the start of the season through the A-10 Championships. His 1:02.96 also happened to be the fastest time in the conference regardless of class year during that period.
