CHESTER, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's track and field team wrapped up a strong showing at the Paul Donahue Invitational, hosted by Widener University, highlighted by multiple personal-best performances and podium finishes across two days of competition.
FRIDAY TRACK RESULTS
- The Hawks opened the meet with a competitive showing in the elite section of the 800m, as Chris Manzo led the group with an eighth-place finish and a personal-best time of 1:51.55. Matt Hoffman ran 1:52.60, Regent Walden followed closely in 1:52.61, and Anton Bovone clocked 1:53.46, with each recording personal-best efforts. Alex Wockenfuss posted a time of 1:52.96, and Immanuel Rota-Talarico finished in 1:53.87, while Elijah Smith rounded out the group with a time of 1:55.07.
- In the elite mile, Michael Glavin delivered a standout performance, placing second overall with a personal-best time of 4:05.42. Will Rau also cracked the top 10, finishing 10th in 4:10.92.
SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS
- Saturday's action saw continued success for the Crimson and Gray, beginning in the sprints. Brody Wyatt ran 11.10, and Henry Peklo followed with 11.25 to represent the Hawks in the 100m.
- In the 200m, Peklo posted a time of 22.82 alongside Eli Turner at 22.65 and James Mackey at 23.37.
- In the 400m, Layton Holt led the way with a personal-best time of 49.33, followed closely by Turner, who also notched a personal best in 49.73. Mackey added a time of 51.24.
- Alex Garcia turned in one of the top performances of the meet in the 400m hurdles, placing fourth with a personal-best time of 53.79, which ranks eighth all-time in program history. Wyatt also competed in the event, finishing in 58.20.
- The Hawks dominated the 800m, led by Cristian Cruz, who captured first place with a personal-best time of 1:53.10. Jackson Kane added a sixth-place finish in 1:54.11, also a personal best, while Matt Carnes ran 1:57.01, Evan McGregor posted 1:57.16, and Colin Donahoe finished in 1:57.41, each recording personal-best efforts.
- The Hawks continued their momentum in the 1500m, sweeping three of the top five spots. Evan McGregor led the charge with a first-place finish in 3:54.25, a personal best, followed by Joey Lanci in third with a personal-best time of 3:55.98 and Christian Napoli in fifth with a personal-best 3:57.65. Josh Forrest ran 4:02.61, and Elijah Stoudt finished in 4:05.12 to round out the field for the Hawks.
- In the 3000m steeplechase, Ryan Cichocki secured a third-place finish with a personal-best time of 9:20.90.
SATURDAY FIELD RESULTS
- Logan Henry represented the Hawks in the long jump, placing seventh overall with a mark of 6.63m.

The Hawks will look to carry this momentum into the Penn Relays, set to begin Thursday, April 23, in Philadelphia.
