DURHAM, N.C. – The Saint Joseph's men's track team completed a split-meet weekend, competing Friday evening at the Duke Invitational before dividing action on Saturday between Duke and the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University.
FRIDAY TRACK RESULTS (Duke Invitational):
The Hawks opened competition Friday in the 100m prelims, highlighted by a season-best performance from
Benjamin Henry, who placed 14th with a time of 10.61.
Jerael Moore followed with a 10.83 effort, while
Logan Henry crossed in 10.92.
Paride Iacono rounded out the group, recording a personal-best time of 11.02.
SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS (Duke Invitational):
The Hawks saw strong sprint performances on Saturday, led by
Benjamin Henry's top-10 finish in the 200m with a time of 21.44.
Logan Maloney placed 23rd in 21.73, while
Luke Noss recorded a personal-best time of 21.92.
Jerael Moore finished in 22.07, followed by
Paride Iacono in 22.22.
Henry continued his standout weekend in the 400m, placing 10th overall with a personal-best time of 47.18. Maloney followed in 48.28, while
Cristian Cruz crossed in 49.24.
In the 800m,
Chris Manzo led the Hawks with a season-best time of 1:52.12. Season-best performances came from
Elijah Smith in 1:53.64,
Anton Bovone in 1:54.33, and
Immanuel Rota-Talarico in 1:55.18.
Regent Walden finished in 1:56.77.
The 4x100m relay team placed ninth overall with a time of 41.29.
In the 400m hurdles,
Luke Noss led the way with a personal-best time of 52.57 to finish ninth.
Alex Garcia followed in 56.01, with
Brody Wyatt close behind in 56.53.
SATURDAY TRACK RESULTS (Bison Outdoor Classic):
In the unseeded section of the 1500m,
Joey Lanci led the Hawks with a third-place finish, crossing the line in 3:56.40.
Christian Napoli also delivered a solid performance, placing 15th with a time of 3:59.44.
Matt Hoffman led the group with a time of 3:51.44.
Jackson Kane was close behind in 46th at 3:51.73, followed by junior
Will Rau in 47th with a time of 3:51.89.
Evan McGregor rounded out the lineup, finishing 73rd in 3:55.82.
The distance team turned in a strong showing in the invitational 5000m, highlighted by a runner-up finish from
Michael Glavin in 14:01.51.
Ryan Cichocki followed with a time of 14:29.61.
Brendan Hefferan closed out the group at 14:32.79.
Gavin Mogck led the way in 6th place at 29:42.12.
Andrea Botteon followed closely in 8th at 29:46.11, as the duo turned in consistent performances to secure top-10 finishes.
