Men's Track and Field Sets Record, Dominates Relays at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Saint Joseph's men's track and field team delivered a strong performance at Princeton's Sam Howell Invitational, highlighted by a win in the 4x400m relay and several top finishes on the track.

TRACK RESULTS
The Hawks opened the meet with a record-breaking performance in the 4x100m relay, as the team of Logan Henry, Logan Maloney, Benjamin Henry, and Jerael Moore set a new school record while placing second in 40.79.

In the 400m, Logan Maloney led the Hawks with an eighth-place finish in 47.88, followed by Luke Noss in a personal-best 48.52 and Cristian Cruz in 49.03. Eli Turner posted a time of 50.10, while Layton Holt finished in 51.51.

Jerael Moore led the Hawks in the 100m with a personal-best time of 10.76, followed by Logan Henry in 10.88 and Paride Iacono in 11.04.

The Hawks had a strong showing across multiple sections of the 800m. Matt Hoffman placed third with a personal-best time of 1:53.27, followed by Regent Walden in 1:55.03, Jackson Kane with a personal-best time A 1:55.04, and Anton Bovone in 1:55.12. Immanuel Rota-Talarico ran 1:55.83, RJ Mallery posted a personal-best time of 1:56.37, Colin Donahoe finished in 1:58.99, and Matthew Carnes ran 1:59.94. In another section of the 800m, Alex Wockenfuss captured a personal-best time and the win in 1:50.77, while Chris Manzo ran 1:54.02, Will Rau finished in 1:54.22, and Elijah Smith posted a time of 1:55.12.

Brody Wyatt led the Hawks in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.18.

In the 200m, Benjamin Henry led the Hawks with a second-place finish in 21.34, followed by Paride Iacono in fifth in 21.56. Brody Wyatt ran 22.15, and Layton Holt finished in 23.25.
The Hawks closed out the meet with a win in the 4x400m relay, as the team of Logan Maloney, Luke Noss, Alex Wockenfuss, and Benjamin Henry posted a time of 3:14.99.

In the 1500m, Michael Glavin led the Hawks with a personal-best sixth-place finish in 3:47.59. Brendan Hefferan ran 3:57.32, Evan McGregor finished in 3:59.38, Joey Lanci posted a time of 4:00.81, Christian Napoli ran 4:05.77, Josh Forrest finished in 4:11.64, and Elijah Stoudt recorded a time of 4:17.72.

Ryan Cichocki represented the Hawks in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 9:27.57.

In the men's unseeded 5000m, Andrea Botteon led the Hawks with a seventh-place finish in 14:34.22, followed by Ian Romea in 15:26.59. In the 5000m final, Gavin Mogck placed eighth in 14:23.54, Anthony Gargani finished 12th in 14:38.57, and Jay Shanahan took 14th in 14:42.98.
