PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's Head Coach Billy Lange has announced that Rob Sullivan '06 has been elevated to general manager for the Hawks' men's basketball program.

As general manager, Sullivan's responsibilities will focus on strategic and effective leadership directly related to the success of the men's basketball program. Included in those duties, Sullivan will develop and implement major strategic initiatives that will help ensure the success of men's basketball at Saint Joseph's, including Name Image and Likeness, donor and former student-athlete engagement, game scheduling, and branding. Additionally, he will assist Saint Joseph's Vice President and Director of Athletics Jill Bodensteiner as the sport administrator for men's basketball.

"We are happy to announce the expanded role of Rob Sullivan. The landscape of college basketball has had many shifts over the last few years and it takes a dedicated and focused position to help lead our program through these changes," said Lange. "Rob has great passion for Hawk Hill and has the respect of former players and coaches due to his time competing for the Crimson and Gray. His keen basketball business sense provides insights and connections that are necessary to elevate the program. Jill deserves a lot of credit for her vision on how to expand the reach of the program through Rob's position and I am grateful for her support."

Entering his fifth year as a member of the Saint Joseph's Athletics department, and third year with the men's basketball program, Sullivan previously served as chief of staff, overseeing multiple facets of Saint Joseph's men's basketball program. A 2006 graduate of Saint Joseph's, Sullivan was a member of the St. Joe's men's basketball team that advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight in 2004 and finished NIT runner-up in 2005. Before returning to Hawk Hill in 2019 in an athletic administrative role, Sullivan was a member of Cornerstone Management's sport and entertainment agency's basketball division, and served as the Hawks' director of men's basketball operations prior to that.
