Saint Joseph's men's basketball team has earned a bid for the 2024 NIT Championship, organization officials announced on Sunday evening. The Hawks will face one seed Seton Hall in the first round on Wednesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. at Walsh Gymnasium on ESPN2.

• Saint Joseph's is making its 17th National Invitation Tournament appearance as the Hawks travel to one seed Seton Hall on Wednesday.
• Wednesday marks the 32nd meeting between the Hawks and Pirates, with Saint Joseph's holding an 18-13 edge.
• In their previous 16 appearances, the Hawks have posted a 16-16 record, and advanced to the title game twice (1997, 2005).
• Saint Joseph's previously earned NIT bids in 1956, 1958, 1964, 1972, 1979, 1980, 1984, 1985, 1993, 1995, 1996, 2002, 205, 2006, 2012 and 2013.
• The Hawks are coming off a run to the Semifinals of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship as St. Joe's topped eighth seed George Mason (64-57) and one seed Richmond (66-61), before falling to fifth seed VCU (66-60).
• Erik Reynolds II - who was named to the NABC All-District 4 First Team on Tuesday - averaged 19.0 points per game at the A-10 Championship and became the first Hawk named to the A-10 All-Championship Team twice.
• Reynolds II enters Wednesday with 1,589 points, one shy of DeAndre' Bembry (2013-16) in 15th place, and 11 points shy of becoming the 15th Hawks to reach 1,600 career points.
• Cameron Brown averaged 13.0 points per game at the A-10 Championship and shot 42.1 percent from distance (8-19).
• Rasheer Fleming grabbed 10.7 rebounds and added 9.3 points per game at the A-10 Championship.
• Head Coach Billy Lange was named one of 20 finalists for the 2023-24 Skip Prosser Man of the Year award on Tuesday.
