MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team opened its slate of conference opponents on Friday, falling to George Mason, 4-0, at the SJU Tennis Complex.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Othman Bezzaz and Ernesto Ruy won their first-flight doubles match, 6-2, but George Mason took the second and third to secure the doubles point.
 
• The Patriots took the first three singles matches to be completed before play was halted.

"We didn't handle the conditions well today, and they wanted it more than we did," head coach Jeff Puhan said.  "Time to bounce back and get ready for Sunday."
