MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team opened its slate of conference opponents on Friday, falling to George Mason, 4-0, at the SJU Tennis Complex.

Ernesto Ruy won their first-flight doubles match, 6-2, but George Mason took the second and third to secure the doubles point.
• The Patriots took the first three singles matches to be completed before play was halted.
